Grant Evaluation Criteria

It is our purpose and goal:

1. To participate in international projects that positively impact the health, education and welfare of less advantaged people.

2. To cooperate to the maximum possible extent with other Rotary Clubs in achieving #1 and with clubs in the beneficiary country to assure accountability.

3. To enable the personal participation in the projects we undertake by the largest possible number of Bellevue Rotarians.

Preference is given first to Matching Grant (MG) projects (evaluated and up for approval at any time submitted), then to those involving multiple Rotary Clubs and multiple BRC members.

Projects may not require more than $5,000 from Bellevue Rotary WCS, and preferably less, to be able to accept more member advocates’ proposals. However, we often partner with other Rotary clubs and The Rotary Foundation to fund grants that, in total, are many times that amount.
