Presentation Summary
“I am going to share a story about my experience as District Governor during the 2024/25 term of District 4945 Argentina–Uruguay. I will highlight some moments that deeply moved me and that help illustrate what we, as Rotarians, can do for a better and more peaceful world.”
Liliana’s Bio
“My name is Liliana Alberto. I am from San Justo, a small town in the center of Argentina.
In 1978, as an exchange student, I graduated from Climax High School in Michigan.
I earned my degree as a Medical Doctor at the National University of Córdoba and later specialized as a Pediatrician at the Argentine Society of Pediatrics in Buenos Aires.
I practiced pediatrics for 40 years, and for ten of those years I served as Director of the Regional Hospital of San Justo.
After retiring, I dedicated myself to studying and developing a project on the prevention of Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
In 2008, I joined Rotary. I worked in the Youth Exchange program, held many leadership positions both at the club and district level, and served as District Governor in 2024/25. I am currently Chair of the District International Committee.”
