From 2020 – 2022, she served as the managing director of revenue management, where she guided the revenue management group through the decline and resurgence of demand that accompanied the pandemic. In 2023, was promoted to vice president, and took on responsibility for Alaska’s network planning group.
Kirsten is a Washington native and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota with a degree in mathematics & economics. Kirsten’s grandfather worked as a mechanic for United in the 1960’s, and as Kirsten wanted to follow in his footsteps, upon graduation she applied to work at Alaska, her hometown airline. 17 years, 8 positions, and 550 flights later, she’s still enjoying the work (and travel benefits). Kirsten currently resides in Seattle with her husband, Patrick, & two children.
