Bob Berntson is one of the Managing Directors at CBIZ Berntson Porter. Bob has been serving clients in the CPA business since 1981. His focus is on estate planning, family wealth planning and mergers and acquisition services. Bob co-founded Berntson Porter with Greg Porter in 1985. In May of 2021, when Bob was CEO, Berntson Porter was acquired by CBIZ. The attest part of the business was acquired by MHM. CBIZ is one of the top 10 accounting and business service providers in the United States and is a public company.
Bob is one of the founders and owners of Berntson Porter Corporate Advisory (investment banking) and Berntson Porter Wealth Management-both companies are privately owned. He is also an investor in private equity and real estate.
Bob was honored to receive the 2019 Vistage Leadership Award for Washington and has been active in various associations and charities. He enjoyed coaching for many years in Snohomish-where he lives. He is married to Jody, and they are blessed with four children, four grandchildren, two dogs, two cats and five chickens. Bob is a graduate of the University of Washington and is a CPA.
