Amanda graduated from St. Mary’s College of California with a BS in Health Science and went on to receive her Masters in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt College. She began her career as an inpatient rehab therapist at John Muir Hospital working with adults with neurological and orthopedic injuries and diseases. After a move to Seattle, she worked on the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Seattle Children’s hospital, specializing in patients with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, brain tumors, and traumatic injuries. After leaving active practice, she has spent the last nearly 2 decades working in various non-profit environments and has extensive knowledge around leadership, fundraising, event planning, and development. She is extremely excited to be at Pushing Boundaries where she gets to have a direct role in guiding the future of this incredible organization for the benefit of the incredible community they get to serve. When not at work, she is usually found in her garage woodshop, indulging her hobby as an amateur woodworker, in the bleachers cheering on one of her sons on the baseball field, or just enjoying time with her family.

Jordan’s Bio

Jordan HorakJordan graduated from the University of Portland with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. While at the University of Portland, he played four years of baseball as a pitcher, where he developed a passion for movement, training, and the gym.
In January 2023, Jordan experienced a life-changing accident and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). Throughout his recovery journey, he discovered firsthand how powerful movement and exercise can be in the healing process. Inspired by that experience, Jordan stepped away from his corporate career to pursue personal training with the goal of helping others improve their lives through movement.
At Pushing Boundaries, Jordan is passionate about serving others and helping clients reach their personal goals while continuing to grow and strengthen the community.
In his spare time, Jordan enjoys smoking food on his Traeger, something he jokingly calls his love language. He also loves spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their dog, Nala.
