Brad Jones’ Bio

Brad Jones is the Executive Director of Visit Bellevue. Visit Bellevue serves as Bellevue’s official Destination Management Organization and exists to stimulate economic growth and development by attracting overnight visitors and inspiring memorable visitor experiences.
Brad has a rich 30-year history as an Executive Director with Destination Management Organizations, most recently prior to Visit Bellevue serving 13-years as the Executive Director with Experience Rochester in Rochester Minnesota and before that 10-years as Executive Director with the Mackinaw Area Visitors Bureau in Michigan.
Brad was born and raised in Michigan and received his formal schooling at Ferris State University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management with other degrees in Culinary Arts and Marketing.
Brad has been married to his wife Shelly for 34 years: they have two adult children Samantha and Max. Brad is an Eagle Scout and still enjoys being involved in the scouting program and enjoys hockey, golf, kayaking, and is an avid backpacker and wilderness explorer. Brad is also a former hockey player and USA hockey official and was fortunate to officiate and compete at high levels of hockey during his ice hockey career. Over the years, Brad has coached many youth and high school hockey & lacrosse teams.
Brad serves on several business, civic and organizational boards as the past President of the Washington State Destination Management Organization Association and past Chairman of State of Washington Tourism. In Minnesota, he was appointed to the Minnesota Tourism Council by Governor Tim Pawlenty and reappointed by Governor Mark Dayton. Brad was the 2016 recipient of Minnesota’s Outstanding Individual in Tourism. Brad has been the visionary for many tourism programs, most recently in Bellevue including new influencer based marketing, the BellHop program, and innovative culinary tourism programs to name a few.

Megan Adams’ Bio

Megan oversees Visit Bellevue’s destination stewardship, accessibility, and innovative arts and culture programming, while supporting Visit Bellevue’s marketing, communications, visitor experience, and destination sales programs. Megan is also responsible for leading community relations and aligning the city’s community and partner needs with Visit Bellevue’s tourism programs.

Megan brings over 20 years of dynamic experience in non-profit management, event coordination, and arts administration. Most recently, she served as Partnerships Manager at Visit Bellevue, where she fostered strong relationships with local businesses and stakeholders to enhance Bellevue’s tourism ecosystem. Her previous roles include Individual and Corporate Giving Manager at Issaquah’s Village Theatre, Marketing Manager and Event Coordinator at Mad Science, and host for Comcast’s “Home In-On-It” TV Show.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Management, and a Mini-MBA from the University of Washington. Megan is a member of the Bellevue Downtown Association and the Old Bellevue Merchant’s Association. Megan is also part of the Leadership Eastside Class of 2026, a program that develops community-focused leaders across the region. Her hobbies and passions evolve around the outdoors and the arts, where she teaches dance and leads choreography on local productions.
