Steven Grimmer is a proven leader at Expeditors through dedication and excellence in the global marketplace. In the position of Senior Vice President of Account Management, he displays vision in order to create a strategic direction for Expeditors Account Management program.
A New Jersey native, Steve began his career in international transportation at the Expeditors Newark office and later moved to Seattle in 2004 to head Expeditors Account Management team.
Joining Expeditors in the Newark/New York region as a Sales Executive, he advanced to Operations Manager. He relocated in 2000 to the Baltimore office in the role of District Manager. From there, he was appointed to lead the Global Account Management program in Seattle.
In the four years as District Manager of the Baltimore office, Steve relied on his sales and management accomplishments and honed his leadership skills. He led branch development and productivity to exceed goals, continuously staying focused on sustaining growth and supporting the development of people and services. In Steve’s current role of Senior Vice President of Account Management, his dedication, and commitment is evident by ensuring Account Management programs are customized globally to the specific needs of each customer. His motivation to get the job done in a dynamically changing marketplace allows him to succeed at achieving goals of exceptional Account Management at every level.
