We commemorate Anne’s induction as an Honorary Member of our Rotary Club, it’s crucial to recognize the profound impact she’s had. For over 23 years, Anne, alongside her late husband Dr. Bill Grimes, has embodied Rotary’s spirit through her unwavering dedication to the Bellevue RotaCare Free Clinic. The clinic, supported by volunteers, medical specialists, and local Rotary Clubs, stood as a beacon of hope for uninsured Washington residents. With Dr. Bill Grimes and Anne’s steadfast commitment, approximately 75 volunteers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and translators, provide vital healthcare services, ensuring individuals of all ages receive the care they need. As we warmly welcome Anne into our Rotary family as an Honorary Member today, let’s acknowledge and honor the extraordinary legacy she brings, marked by her dedication to serving those in need.
