Mother’s Day week was a HUGE success at ‘Groceries for Families’.
We got flowers, balloons and Mother’s Day cards in addition to groceries and pantry items.
The numbers are slightly trending down for family attendance, and we are adjusting our weekly grocery bags accordingly. But there is still great need for weekly pantry items that they provide to families.
So many of you are supporting this program but there is still need
for financial donations and more volunteers to shop pantry items.
Here’s the current list of pantry items needed, for those of you who would like to help in this way, too. Thank you for these extra supplies which go out to families weekly.
In order of priority:
- Highest Priority
- Diapers, size 5
- Feminine hygiene: pads only (no tampons)
- Bulk rice (large bags – we will portion out)
- Diapers, size 6
- Baby wipes
- Paper Towels
- Laundry soap, pods (Costco is fine – we will portion out)
- Cooking oil (large size only)
