Rich has been a member of Bellevue Rotary since 1991. He served as Club President 2009-2010.

As an educator, he has taught the elementary grades, middle school, high school, and college. He’s been a principal, district assistant superintendent, and a high school district superintendent of schools. He earned his PhD in Educational Leadership at University of California, Santa Barbara.

Rich and his wife, Marilyn, co-founded a business in 1977, Bureau of Education & Research, which has grown to be the leading professional development training organization for educators in the United States. The company has been headquartered in Bellevue since 1989. He will share their story and the lessons learned.
